100 Mile House Canada is located at about the halfway point between Vancouver and Prince George. It is situated in the interior of British Columbia in an area known as the South Cariboo.
100 Mile House was named for the rest stop travel weary gold seekers found 100 miles from Lillooet during the Cariboo gold rush of the 1860's.
It is famous for its friendly people and a host of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors summer or winter. Excellent fishing, hunting, horseback riding, cross country skiing and snowmobiling are just a few of the attractions that make this area a popular destination.
